Another fabulous shawlette from the Twyst Shawlette pattern! I had one skein (328 yds) of Noro Silk Garden Sock sitting in my stash that I desperately wanted to get rid of by knitting into something pretty. It’s Sport weight, so I decided to knit it into a Twyst Shawlette which highlighted its color changes beautifully! Silk Garden Sock is not very stretchy (40% wool, 25% silk, 25% nylon, 10% mohair), but it stretched from 49″ x 15″ unblocked to 60″ x 15.25″ so it’s a really good size.
I love the vibrant colors!
It blocked out light, airy, yet can be warm when you need a little cover-up. For a bit more info, my project page is here.
Until next time, happy knitting!
